Gryźliny is a village located in the northwestern part of the commune, by the road from Nowy Dwór to Jamielnik, about 8 km northeast of Nowe Miasto Lubawskie. Mentioned for the first time in 1402 as Greszelinge. Information from 1409 states that Mikołaj from Gryźliny received 9 fines for the horse used in the trip to Dobrzyń. In 1414, the owners of the village are Mikołaj and Sander. At the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries Gryźliny belonged to the Wilkanowski family. In 1501, Mateusz received the village during the division between the Wilkanowski brothers. From 1570, the village passed into the hands of the Działyński family. In the nineteenth century, the owner is Józef Chrzanowski, and in 1890 the property is taken over by the Prussian Colonization Commission.
The village has 243 inhabitants. There is a branch church ,a park, a village clubhouse and a volunteer fire department in the village council.
