The parish was re-appointed by the decree of Toruń bishop Andrzej Suski of May 21, 2000. Its area was separated from the borders of the Radomno parish. The first priest was Father Józef Penc. A plot of land for the church under construction was quickly purchased. A cemetery was soon built thanks to the founders. On July 21, 2000, excavations for the construction of the temple were made. In the same year, on October 8, the first pilgrimage ceremony of St. Sisters of Faustina. At the same time, the works were continued on the adaptation of the former catechetical house to the presbytery and meeting rooms of parish groups, as well as the construction of a funeral home.
