Lekarty is located 9 km northwest from Nowe Miasto Lubawskie. The village was mentioned for the first time in 1402.
The village has got 250 inhabitants. There is a village clubhouse and a volunteer fire department in the village council. You can also go for a walk on one of four Nordic walking routes.
